The fjord that never warms
Coastal — Blue Hour
Pale towers of stone, lit pink before the world wakes.
Alpine — Sunrise
Mountains — Dolomites — Autumn
Some places do not announce themselves. The Dolomites simply wait — pale, patient, immense — until the first light decides to find them.
Before the valley stirs, the towers turn the colour of embers. It lasts only minutes. Then the rock cools back to grey, and the silence returns, deeper than before.
Here, the mountains do not rise. They breathe.
Walk a little further and the trail empties. The wind carries nothing but the sound of distance. This is what we came for — not the view, but the quiet beneath it.
